# Hebrew Wordle helper word-list provenance

Last reviewed: 2026-08-29

## Scope

The Hebrew Wordle helper uses a small, hand-curated list of everyday Modern Hebrew forms. It is stored with the site in src/data/wordBanks.ts and exists only to offer possible matches for the feedback a visitor enters.

It is not a complete dictionary, a spelling authority, or an official answer list for Mila Beyachad or any other Wordle-style game. A missing match does not establish that a word is invalid; a shown match does not establish that a particular game will accept it.

## Source and licence notice

No third-party dictionary, corpus, or game answer list is bundled into this helper. The small selection is maintained as site content rather than presented as a copy of an external lexicon. Accordingly, there is no third-party word-list licence to attribute for these entries, and this notice does not grant a licence to the site's content.

## Final-letter handling

For matching only, final forms are normalised to their regular equivalents: ך → כ, ם → מ, ן → נ, ף → פ, and ץ → צ. Candidate results retain their standard spelling, including final forms.

## Corrections

To report an invalid, missing, or malformed candidate, email [contact@valorem.ing](mailto:contact@valorem.ing?subject=Hebrew%20Wordle%20word-list%20correction) with the word, the feedback entered, and the game where you encountered it.
