  1. A move must bracket an unbroken line of opposing discs with one of your own discs.
  2. In the example below, placing Dark at C4 brackets the Light disc at D4 against Dark at E4.
  3. D4 changes to Dark. Use the legal-placement controls to explore other moves, then choose a bot level for practice.

  • Share one device, or host and join verified Nearby games.
  • Play Game Center turn-based matches and friend invitations, or choose live 10-minute games with no increment.

Pastel Garden and Classic Clarity are included. Browse 36 illustrated sets with light and dark characters, themed boards, sounds and transformations. Preview a real legal flip before choosing a look.

Maid Café turns characters through porcelain, heart-shaped steam and a café melody. Cat Café pounces through paws and yarn. Corrupted Crystal shatters into prismatic facets and reforms. Multiplayer opponents can see these transformations when visual effects are enabled. A rare Grand Café Finale adds an extra flourish on about 5% of Maid Café Theme Signature flips.

Three permanent cosmetic bundles offer the 35 optional illustrated sets. All Access unlocks every set and all 100 player logos. Purchases change appearance and sound; they never change legal moves or unlock game modes. Restore purchases with your Apple Account.

Keep your story

Replay recordings with pause and step controls, export a Reversipetal game transcript, and practice a local copy. Discover 109 personal achievements, track wins and flip statistics, and optionally sync private progress through iCloud. Game Center leaderboards track online wins.

Learn comfortably

Choose a move from an accessible legal-placement list, tap an empty square or preview a drag. See disc totals, flipping lines and automatic passes. Local games offer hints and undo. Optional coaching explains verified positions on supported devices; AI explanations may make mistakes. Adjust appearance, classic discs, sound, haptics, flip intensity and motion independently.

How to play, what is included, and how this independent game relates to familiar board games.

Is Reversipetal similar to Reversi and Othello?

Yes. Reversipetal is an independent disc-flipping strategy game in the same family as the games known as Reversi and Othello. Place a disc to bracket an opponent’s line and turn those discs to your color. Reversipetal adds illustrated character transformations, offline bots and multiplayer ways to play. The comparison describes the style of play and does not imply an official connection to those brands.

Is Reversipetal affiliated with Ravensburger or the owners of Othello?

No. Reversipetal is independently developed by Gal Itach and published by Valorem Apps. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Ravensburger, MegaHouse or Othello Co. Reversi is a Ravensburger trademark in Germany. Othello is a registered trademark; its official trademark notice credits Othello Co. and MegaHouse. These names are used here only to explain the style of play.

Are Reversipetal and Othellopetal the same game?

Yes. Othellopetal was the development name for Reversipetal. The App Store name is Reversipetal: Reversi Online, with the subtitle Multiplayer & Offline AI. Othellopetal refers to the same independently developed game, not a separate release or an official Othello product.

Is Reversipetal available on the German App Store?

Reversipetal is not currently offered on the German App Store. We are excluding Germany for now because Reversi is a Ravensburger trademark there. Availability elsewhere depends on the release status of the iPhone, iPad and Mac editions.
