Is Reversipetal similar to Reversi and Othello?
Yes. Reversipetal is an independent disc-flipping strategy game in the same family as the games known as Reversi and Othello. Place a disc to bracket an opponent’s line and turn those discs to your color. Reversipetal adds illustrated character transformations, offline bots and multiplayer ways to play. The comparison describes the style of play and does not imply an official connection to those brands.
Is Reversipetal affiliated with Ravensburger or the owners of Othello?
No. Reversipetal is independently developed by Gal Itach and published by Valorem Apps. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Ravensburger, MegaHouse or Othello Co. Reversi is a Ravensburger trademark in Germany. Othello is a registered trademark; its official trademark notice credits Othello Co. and MegaHouse. These names are used here only to explain the style of play.

Are Reversipetal and Othellopetal the same game?
Yes. Othellopetal was the development name for Reversipetal. The App Store name is Reversipetal: Reversi Online, with the subtitle Multiplayer & Offline AI. Othellopetal refers to the same independently developed game, not a separate release or an official Othello product.
Is Reversipetal available on the German App Store?
Reversipetal is not currently offered on the German App Store. We are excluding Germany for now because Reversi is a Ravensburger trademark there. Availability elsewhere depends on the release status of the iPhone, iPad and Mac editions.
Can I play offline or with friends?
Practice offline with Gentle, Balanced or Advanced bots, share one device, or host and join verified Nearby games. Game Center supports turn-based matches and friend invitations, plus live 10-minute games with no increment. Offline bots and shared-device play need no account. Game Center requires an Apple Account and internet; Nearby requires local-network permission.
Is every game mode free, and what do purchases unlock?
Every game mode is free. Pastel Garden and Classic Clarity are included. There are 36 illustrated sets to browse, with 35 optional illustrated sets offered through three permanent cosmetic bundles. All Access unlocks every set and all 100 player logos. Purchases change appearance and sound only; they never change legal moves or unlock game modes. Purchases can be restored with your Apple Account.
Which devices does Reversipetal support?
Reversipetal requires iOS/iPadOS 18.6 or macOS 15.6 or later. Version 26.6 is recommended. Optional coaching is available on supported devices, and AI explanations may make mistakes. Optional cloud features depend on your settings and system availability.
